Making Christmas!

We got our first big tree and put it all together today! I still want to collect random ornaments that have meaning to us, but we've got a good base going so far.

The blue duck we though was funny because I collect rubber duckies, and it's blue for Chanukah.

We also added a little extra scent to make it seem like at real tree.

I just wanted to tell you how much i LOVE that headphone is spelled wrong....

I love you and miss you and wish we lived closer. Let's not ever move farther than we are now.

And yes, clearly I'm feeling sentimental this morning.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?

Mind Kaling did a book signing at the Grove last week of her new book Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?. I couldn't go because I closed that night, but my co worker waited in line for me and got my book signed with hers. (Fun fact: BJ Novak came to the book signing with Mindy- is it life imitating art?) 

All of the cool book signings at the Barnes and Noble in my mall have been a big plus of working at the Grove. 

I've read the first few pages so far and it's pretty funny. Drew is about halfway through and says he's still liking it.

Cold Enough For a Cowl

"I don't know how I feel about that thing around your neck," said Drew in reference to my cowl. No wonder, considering how I'm wearing it right now.
